Venezuela was struck by devastating earthquakes measuring 7.5 on the Richter scale. The tremors lasted less than a minute, but they destroyed hundreds of buildings. In the barrios-the country's poorest neighborhoods-fragile homes collapsed like houses of cards. Children are sleeping in the streets alongside their terrified parents. Emergency aid is needed now. Our volunteers will deliver Life Packages containing food, clean water, hygiene products, medicines, and other basic necessities.
Many of the affected neighborhoods in Venezuela consist of densely populated areas with fragile, makeshift housing, the true scale of the tragedy may not yet be known. Large parts of the affected region have lost electricity and telecommunications. Many school buildings are now being converted into temporary shelters for families who have lost their homes. The people need water, food, medicines, hygene products. We deliver them the Life Packages with clean water, hygiene products, medicines.
This project will provide immediate emergency relief to families affected by the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela. Using donations, our local volunteers and missionary partners will purchase essential supplies in bulk from local suppliers and distribute them directly to the families most in need. Each Life Package may include food, clean drinking water, hygiene products, first aid supplies, basic medicines, blankets, and other emergency essentials, depending on the needs of each household.
Beyond meeting urgent humanitarian needs, this project will help restore dignity, hope, and a sense of security to families who have lost everything. Immediate assistance during the first days after the disaster can make a critical difference in protecting health, preventing further suffering, and helping survivors begin the long process of rebuilding their lives.
