Nurturing Tiny Hearts: A Place for a Second Chance

During the third quarter of 2025, the "Nourishing Hearts" project at Hogar Bambi Venezuela has been a clear example of how balanced nutrition and rigorous medical follow-up are the foundation for comprehensive development. In these months, we focused on ensuring that our 120 children and adolescents had the necessary energy and health to enjoy their school break and prepare successfully for their new challenges.

We maintained our commitment to food security by serving over 20,000 nutritious meals and 13,500 snacks. Every menu was designed by professional nutritionists to meet the specific growth needs according to age. Furthermore, we conducted anthropometric evaluations to monitor weight and height, ensuring each child maintained an optimal nutritional status during the holiday season.

We understand that a healthy child is a child who learns better. Therefore, the support of our donors enabled us to conduct 72 pediatric consultations and 210 external consultations. Before the start of the 2025-2026 school year, we intensified preventive health campaigns, including general medical check-ups and the administration of 41 vaccines. Additionally, ophthalmological consultations and corrective glasses were provided for 6 children, ensuring that every member of our home was in ideal physical condition to return to the classroom.
