Hepatitis B originally came from Congo .DRC and affected North East part of Uganda in 2003.hepatitis B a viral diseases affects liver cells that causes liver malfunctions.Hepatitis B is a cantigeuons disease which causes to sex,blood transfusion,blood contact,sharing sharp object like safety pins,through sweats,through labor.The process of Hepatitis B immunization programme is a bit expensive to local people and to low income earners
Currently the community of Bulo have no capacity to acquire immunization and education services from big hospitals.as dose of hepatitis B is quite expensive and can not be affordable to poor people who earns less than one dollar a month.The ability of women,men, children to access immunization for the first dose is beyond their capacity that is why we are turning to people of good heart to help with assistance.
The proposed project corresponds to the Buganda kingdom mission of fighting of hepatitis B through the community,the project will create awareness to women and men the dangers of hepatitis B.For those who have benefited from the project will be the ambassadors of change to carry out advocacy for immunization.
The project will reduce the transmission of hepatitis B to 150 Beneficiaries to enable the individual people to become more active and productive members of the society so that to engage in productive ventures to enhance living standards of their families.
