Thenk you so much from SoulGives staff for your generosity. Because of you our e-commerce development has improved in several key areas.
Objective Measurements: Your donations allowed us to learn from the Community Boost staff a objective, iterative approach to using the monthly $10,000 advertising account from our Google Ad Grant. We learned how to set up tags within the SoulGives website so we can accurately measure where people go on our website. With these data we are using Google Analytics tools to determine what key words work best for each of our products and the regions and interests of those that visit the site.
More Products: With the refinements made using your donations, we now have over 100 products on the SoulGives.org website. Additionally, our sister website, soulgivescoffee.org, will soon have similar improvements. We encourage you to take a look at both websites and pass our site onto others.
Ready for the Faire: The increase in visibility caught the attention of Faire Wholesale. This seller to retail site contacted us and invited us to join their platform. We know it will take months to get noticed by the 600,000 retailers that buy from Faire, but we have confidence in the products that our partners make are extraordinary.
Little Things: Lastly, your contributions do much more than help SoulGives sell products, you are changing families and communities. Esmerelda is from the Huerta tribe in central Costa Rica. She makes wonderful cane baskets, rain sticks, and wind instruments. Her father han makes shoes and is a potter, like most men of their tribe, but a tradition changed when Esmerelda told him she wanted to learn this trade that only their men did. They both came to love this art. This year by using your donations, Esmeralda bought an electric pottery wheel. In the video sequence below you can see the transformation from their traditional method of rotating the wheel by pushing with a foot to sitting and just focusing on the clay. Not only will they make more pottery in less time, but they can now relish in the creativity of the craft.
