Raising ducklings for dispersal

Growing ducklings

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing dukcs to be raised for rural, disadvantaged women. Ducks are easy to raise and they can be fed with left-overs in the kitchen. Our type of duck the Pateros breed does not sit on their eggs but they tend to produce whole year round providing regular nutrition to the households via the eggs that they produce. This is indeed an advantage and very important support to women and their families. We raised the ducks by incubating the eggs and brooding the chicks for at least 6 weeks before releasing them to the beneficiaries. This reporting period we are able to disperse a total of 200 ducklings to 45 beneficiaries. Hoping for your continuing support.

Very sincerely yours,

Michelle
