CELEBRATION OF SUCCESS

By Paul van Wijgerden | Managing Director

How important is it to celebrate students' success? Every year, we encounter different stories. These stories inspire other children and youth to continue believing in education and their dreams. Each success story serves as a beacon of light for those walking along dark paths, bringing hope especially during their toughest times.

Students gave powerful and motivational speeches.Christian, who graduated with the Magna Cum Laude award, also shared an inspiring testimony of his journey as a student. He’s one of nine children in his family. His story encourages students to strive for greatness despite the situation they’re in. Most notably, Christian's heartfelt speech about the words 'kaya, kinakaya, kakayanin,' (‘possible, striving to, will be able to') left a lasting impact on how he pursued his dreams and gave his best to reach where he is today.

The event took an unexpected turn when students gave flowers and made a surprise video for the YF teachers and coordinators who guided them through the school year. This is not just the success of parents and students, but also the success of YF staff in seeing them graduate and move up. This magical moment wrapped up the event as everyone sang the theme song ‘Today My Life Begins’.

A message to our students: ”Your achievements reflect your relentless hard work and perseverance. We are incredibly proud of every one of you. This event not only celebrated your past accomplishments but also set the stage for your future successes.
Let’s continue to foster a spirit of excellence and support within our community. Here’s to more milestones and achievements in the days to come!"
