Dear Friend,
In 2019 about 1000 families were relocated by the government to ‘Ericka Louise Ville’ (Naic, Cavite). Most of them came from the slums in Manila, including 60 of our beneficiaries.
Young Focus is now constructing a student center on 250 m2 of land near where these families live. This building will serve as a central location from which Young Focus can conduct and coordinate student and school activities. The main meeting room will be big enough for at least 100 people.
Tutorials and life skills sessions for students
Training for parents on family care
Computer lab and library for student use
Education for children who have dropped out of school
Preschool classes
See our artist’s impression of the building below. Doesn’t it look amazing! There’s enough space for more than 100 students or parents in this new center!
A dream will finally come true for our students living in Naic, Cavite: for the last four years they haven’t been able to receive all the services we’ve wanted to give them… Also, with this building, more students will be able to enroll in our sponsorship program, plus education can be given to school dropouts and preschoolers.
