Drive Hope Forward A vehicle is more than transport-it's access to therapy, nursing, hope, and opportunity. In June 2026, Safe Haven's outreach van was destroyed in a fire. Insurance covered part of the replacement cost, but not the specialised fit-out or the full cost of a new vehicle. Help us replace this vital van so our outreach teams can continue delivering life-changing care to children with disabilities across rural Cambodia.
Children with disabilities in rural Cambodia often cannot travel to access healthcare and therapy. Safe Haven brings multidisciplinary care directly to their homes, but in June 2026 our fully equipped outreach van was destroyed in a fire. While insurance covered part of the replacement cost, it did not cover the specialised fit-out or the full value of the vehicle, leaving us with a significant funding gap.
Funds raised will purchase and equip a replacement outreach vehicle, allowing our nurses, physiotherapists, interventionists, and social workers to continue reaching children across Siem Reap Province. The vehicle will transport staff, therapy equipment, wheelchairs, assistive devices, and essential medical supplies to families who would otherwise go without care.
Replacing the outreach van will ensure hundreds of children continue receiving life-changing services that improve their health, mobility, communication, independence, and quality of life. It will also strengthen families by providing ongoing education and support, enabling children with disabilities to thrive in their homes and communities for years to come.
