Overview
The “Dressing 100,000 Orphan Children with Joy This Eid” campaign was launched to ensure that orphaned and vulnerable children across Egypt could celebrate Eid with dignity by receiving new clothing and footwear.
For many children, receiving new clothes during Eid is more than a tradition—it restores confidence, creates joyful memories, and reinforces a sense of belonging.
During this implementation phase, the campaign successfully secured support for more than 55,000 orphan children, providing them with complete Eid clothing packages before the holiday.
Areas Reached
The campaign reached orphaned children in some of Egypt's most underserved communities across the following governorates:
All distributions were carried out directly by the Egyptian Clothing Bank's distribution team, ensuring that every child received assistance with dignity, transparency, and according to the organization's beneficiary verification and distribution standards. The team coordinated logistics, beneficiary registration, and on-ground implementation to ensure efficient and equitable delivery across all targeted governorates.
Accomplishments
More Than 55,000 Orphan Children Supported
Through the campaign, over 55,000 orphan children received new Eid clothing packages that helped them celebrate the holiday with dignity and happiness.
Each distribution package included carefully selected clothing appropriate for the child's age, gender, and seasonal needs, ensuring both comfort and quality.
Restoring the Joy of Eid
For many of the children served, these new clothes represented their only opportunity to celebrate Eid like their peers, allowing them to participate in family gatherings, prayers, and community celebrations with confidence and pride.
Impact on Children and Families
Restoring Dignity
Receiving new clothing allowed children to experience the joy and excitement traditionally associated with Eid, helping them feel valued, included, and cared for.
Emotional Well-Being
The campaign brought smiles and renewed hope to thousands of children by creating positive memories during one of the most important celebrations of the year.
Supporting Vulnerable Families
Many caregivers and families responsible for orphaned children face significant financial hardship. By providing complete clothing packages, the campaign eased a considerable financial burden and allowed families to allocate their limited resources toward other essential needs.
Strengthening Community Solidarity
The campaign demonstrated the power of collective giving by connecting individual donors, corporate partners, volunteers, and local organizations around a shared mission of supporting Egypt's most vulnerable children.
