By Nathan Rowe | Capacity Development Manager
Thank you everyone who has donated to our very important Rwanda project. Since our last update we have made more steady progress towards our fundraising target, which is great!
As you know, this project is aimed at building the capacity of the Rwanda Down Syndrome Organisation to enable them to run workshops on early development for teachers and parents of young children with Down syndrome in Rwanda.
The workshops will increase their knowledge and understanding of early development, enabling them to give the children with Down syndrome the best possible start in life. This is crucially important and will open up a whole range of opportunities and possibilities for them as they get older.
If you are in a position to donate again or to tell your friends and family about our campaign we would really appreciate it. We will keep you updated with our fundraising progress and as soon as we reach out target we can begin our important work supporting children with Down syndrome and their families in Rwanda!
Thank you!
