Community Center (Mosque) Inaugurated to Serve 700

By Muhammad Imad Ud Din | Project Leader

Title: Community Center (Mosque) Inaugurated to Serve 700+ People and Educate Children

Summary

Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan (AKFP), with the support of GlobalGiving, has successfully inaugurated a new Community Center (Mosque), providing a space for worship, education, and community gatherings.

The center will facilitate daily religious education for 100 children and serve 700+ community members for prayers and religious activities.

Story / Update

Access to community spaces that support both spiritual and educational needs is essential for building strong and connected communities. In many underserved areas, such facilities are limited or unavailable, restricting opportunities for learning and collective worship.

To address this need, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, with the support of GlobalGiving, inaugurated a Community Center (Mosque) designed to serve as a hub for religious, educational, and social activities.

The center will provide daily religious education to 100 children, helping them learn Quranic teachings and moral values in a structured environment. In addition, the mosque will accommodate over 700 people for daily prayers, Friday congregations, and important religious events such as Ramadan prayers, Eid gatherings, Nikah ceremonies, and community meetings.

This initiative not only strengthens spiritual connection but also promotes unity, learning, and social cohesion within the community.
