The past year has brought forth many adversities, such as COVID-19, economic downturn, Anti-Asian racism, and political partisanship. These events have deeply affected us and left our futures uncertain at times, but we have also witnessed inspirational leadership, sacrifice, and service like never before.
Recently, Korean American leaders from all across the country have stepped forward to help those hurting and in need. We have witnessed inspirational leadership, sacrifice, and service like never before, and this year we wish to celebrate these heroes and the resilient spirit of the Korean American community! This celebration will inform the public about the actions being taken to uplift the community.
The Korean American community has shown great strength, impactful leadership and organization, and undeniable resilience through adversity. We want to continue providing a platform for these leaders to tackle these problems and equip them with the right connections, networks, and tools to lead the Korean American community.
