Summer camp was organized in this school from Apr 10th - 30th. Nearly 20 children attended the camp everyday where the students were given the freedom to choose the activities they like to do. Initially very few children came but as the word of the camp activities spread more of them started coming. The camp was managed by a temporary teacher paid for by Sikshana.
The motto of the camp was to make “Learning fun". Various games, craft works, singing, dancing etc were held. Since there is no play ground in the school, most of the activities were indoors. Along with the games there were activities around reading, word puzzle, essay writing etc. Also kids lacking basic arithmetic skills were given special attention with some and the result of this effort should be seen in the June assessment which will be conducted by Sikshana.
