This project is meant to ensure that the needy children are kept in school by providing steady supply of food/continuous feeding programmes in schools within the slums in Nairobi, Kisumu, and remote areas where many people are living in abject poverty. Through our research, we realised that most of the needy students drop out of school due to lack of food, school fees, and clothes, among other necesities in order to look for odd jobs. This project is aimed at ensuring that they stay in school.
Many children who come from the humble background drop out of school due to lack of food, school fees, necessities among other things. They end up looking for odd jobs in order to survive. Some end up in teenange marriages and social evils that harm their lives like crime, prostitution, aomong other things. To protect these children, we have come up with this project to ensure that these children are given equal opportunity to develop into productive and world ready children.
The project will enable needy chidren to go to school, get good education, and help the society in the future. The result will be improved education, emplyability, and quality life to the sponsored children. Again, this project will reduce cases of teenage marriages brought by poverty as poor families in many remote areas in Kenya tend marry out their daughters early in order to get dowry payment. This project will help keep teenage girls in school thus preventing chances of teenage marriages.
Many children will be able to go school, get good education, and be employable in good industries. It will also boost the morale of teenage girls and boys as a wholes as they will feel protected by the kindest donors and our organisation. Malnutition will be a gone case for the sponored children as they will getting steady supply of nutritious meals.
