Donate for Menstrual Hygiene of 100 Disable Girls

Protibandhi Shishu Shiekkha O Paricharja samity (Proships) is   Conducted a program on support for Menstruation Hygienic of the girls & women with Disabilities.  It’s covered the Personnel Hygiene, Sexual & reproductive health issues with Adolescent girls for creating positive awareness and information disseminate in to them. Our implementing Program will help to Increasing use of Sanitary napkins to free from infections, more confident positively.

Nazina is physical handicapped adolescent girls and she is comes from poor family she has no father and brother and they are two sisters. She lives in Pullakandi village in Dewangonj upazilla under Jamalpur district, Bangladsh. She is reading with very hard due to her both hand deformities. She is not continuation to her education but she is involving with others children education and teaches in children homes and met up her daily foods. They are more aware before on her personnel hygienic issues but she cannot use proper sanitary pad in during menstruation period due to her poverty. She wants to support continuation hygienic sanitary pad and she apologies for donation   safe life and protection. In our areas some of adolescent girls and Women are still use old cloth pieces during menstruation periods. They told us – “we have no affordable about our Menstruation hygiene materials on monthly period”. We want to clean and safe but we cannot maintain due to our poor economical condition. we are try to maintain daily life with very hard so in each month cannot buy sanitary pad. 

Our organization Team and Co-worker are organized group session separately and conducted individually avoid the above mention situation for safe and protection of Adolescent girls and women with disabilities on Menstruation periods. Menstruation is a biological process in women but now it is a big social taboo in our area. For create aware on menstruation Counseling & motivational activities is help to them with support buy sanitary pad.  For their safe life and protection they have need to continue donations.
