Wow! 91 babies were born at the Agwata Clinic in 2025! That’s a lot of babies—and we are so thankful that their deliveries went well.
We are also grateful for the three new patient beds provided by a local district councilor after she learned how many deliveries our clinic was handling. Before these beds arrived, the maternity hut had only two older-style beds that were more difficult to keep clean. I was especially happy to find a quiet day when we could take a few photos of the new beds without interrupting a delivery!
Your donations help make this care possible every day by contributing toward the stipends of our three nurses and providing essential medicines and supplies. And the local community and district continue to step up when they can, providing things like these beds and helping with immunization days.
It truly is a joint effort—and the women of Agwata are benefiting. Before our clinic opened in 2013, expectant mothers had to walk 17 kilometers to the nearest health center to give birth.
Thank you for helping make safe, local healthcare possible for mothers and babies in this remote community. We are deeply grateful for your support of this life-giving work.
