Donate for Clinic Medicine & Staff @ Uganda Clinic

Besides offering Covid vaccinations which we mentioned in our last report, the Agwata Health Center also offers many other kinds of tests and special clinics to community members.

Most of the clinics are sponsored by district health teams which come equipped with tents to set up and the necessary items for the special clinic.  In the photo here, many people turned out for the black flies infection testing in mid-December. These clinics offer valuable benefits over and above the regular health services and medicines provided day in and day out at the community clinic.

Last month (January) saw a large influx of students from our Agwata school which is right across the road from the clinic.  As the new school year began, many students arrived feeling sick and needed testing for malaria and needed malaria medicine if the results showed "positive". 

Parents and students were grateful that the clinic was close by to the school, could be easily accessed and actually had medicines on hand!  Untreated malaria can quickly become fatal especially to younger children. We remain very grateful for your continued support through this project, so we had the funds to purchase additional malaria medicine to cover the high numbers of patients last month and continuing into February.

Thank you  so much for your support of this project which provides for important daily needs at the clinic through medicines and staffing, as well as responding to Covid 19 special needs as they arise.
