The Deaf Welfare Awareness Foundation (DWAF) continues its commitment to ensuring that Deaf students have access to education, skills, and a supportive learning environment. Currently, more than 80 Deaf students are enrolled in our training programs, where they receive vocational and digital skills to prepare for sustainable employment and financial independence.
Many of our students come from low-income families who cannot afford the cost of education, meals, or accommodation. Among them,Twenty five students have traveled from other cities to pursue training at DWAF. These students live in our hostel, and DWAF is fully responsible for providing their accommodation, daily meals, and a safe environment so they can focus entirely on their education.
Providing nutritious meals is a vital part of our program. It ensures that students remain healthy, motivated, and able to participate fully in their classes and practical training. Every meal directly contributes to better learning outcomes and gives these young people the opportunity to build a brighter future.
Thanks to the generous support of our GlobalGiving donors, we are able to continue providing meals and essential care to our students. Your support is helping remove barriers to education and creating opportunities for Deaf youth to gain marketable skills, secure dignified employment, and become financially independent.
As the demand for our programs continues to grow, we hope to welcome and support even more Deaf students from across Pakistan. Together, we are not only providing meals—we are investing in education, empowerment, and long-term self-reliance for the Deaf community.
Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping us create lasting change, one student at a time.
