Deaf Welfare Awareness Foundation (DWAF) is running ongoing skill development courses for deaf students, enrolling 25 students in every 6-month batch. These students come from vulnerable families who cannot afford their living, meals, or training costs. DWAF provides free accommodation & training, but depends on donor support for food. Your donation will provide three nutritious meals daily, enabling them to focus on learning, complete their training with dignity, get employed & support families
Many deaf students in Pakistan come from vulnerable, low-income families who cannot afford basic needs such as food, accommodation, and training costs. Despite their strong potential, these students face barriers in continuing skill development due to lack of proper nutrition and financial support. Without assistance, they risk dropping out, remaining unemployed, and continuing the cycle of poverty and social exclusion.
DWAF provides free skill development training and accommodation to deaf students in batches of 25 every 6 months. This project will ensure they receive three nutritious meals daily, removing a major barrier to their learning. With proper food and care, students can fully focus on their training, successfully complete courses, and gain skills needed for employment and independence.
This project will empower deaf students to become skilled, confident, and financially independent individuals. By completing their training, they can secure employment, support their families, and break the cycle of poverty. Over time, this initiative will promote inclusion, reduce inequality, and create a ripple effect where empowered deaf individuals contribute positively to society with dignity and respect.
