Dear donors and well wishers,
Accept greetings from Cameroon. I wish to report that we are in the Anglophone region of Cameroon and we have been going through a stressful period. There have been social unrest because the Anglophones decided to fight for their right and as such, schools have not been going on for some time now.
The last consignment of bags that we bought awaiting school resumption is in good hands awaiting the school resumpiton in January for the distribution to be done..
Despite the fact that schools are not operating now, we have been holding regular meetings with the caregivers and giving them some books from our library for the kids to be reading while waiting for official school resumption date come 8th of January 2018
So far we are identifying more children to admit when schools resum and more bags will be needed to be distributed accordingly.
If there is any one wisihing to donate to the project,he or she should not hesditate because the project is on going and when the school resumes more bags will be needed to be given to newly admitted ophaned children.
We are praying for a peaceful solution to the Southern Cameroon issue.
Stay blessed.
