Fight against COVID-19
GYWS has come forward to help the people living in village Gopali and nearby villages. Here are some of our efforts to support the poor and needy in these tough times-
In the light of the current situation, a France-based organization - GOPIO had offered to provide us with a donation in kind and helped the covid affected families get access to better food and groceries. It had made a note of the list of basic needs of the village and had provided basic essential supplies to around 31 covid affected families(around 100 food packets ) in a span of 1 month.
Yoga Day Celebrations
Yoga day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Jagriti Vidya Mandir as well as among all the members of the Gopali Youth Welfare Society. Yoga is a great way to re-energize our mind and body in these trying times and help us keep fit as Yoga is not about Touching Your Toes. It’s about Unbarring Your Ideas about what You want, Where You Think You Can Go, And How will You Achieve when You get there.
Celebrating our Teachers: Teacher’s Day & Guru Purnima
The impact teachers have in our lives is boundless and deeply empowering. All the endeavors at GYWS are possible only due to the constant support of our teachers.
As a token of appreciation to our beloved teachers at Jagriti Vidya Mandir, we had organized a small celebration to honor them for not only teaching the students the various subjects but also inculcating in them necessary virtues and morals.
On the solemn occasion of Guru Purnima, we also had our teachers elaborate on their experience as firm pillars of Jagriti Vidya Mandir and guiding lights to our beloved students. We treasure their testimonials
