ZOCS appreciates Zambia's Education For All Policy, facilitating many out-of-school children's return. However, many learners in rural areas lack requisites such as books, risking dropout rates. ZOCS aims to improve this by collecting 100,000 exercise books and other supplies for underprivileged communities, fostering a better educational environment. By supporting this campaign, you will play a vital role in nurturing our children's educational journey, helping them unlock their potential.
Learners in vulnerable communities, mostly rural areas in Zambia, face challenges in accessing education due to lack of school requisites and other social-economic problems. Despite the introduction of free education, vulnerable households still can't afford to buy exercise books, uniforms, shoes among others. This increases the risk of a child dropping out of school, failing to perform well in class and reduces morale to participate in school activities.
ZOCS will support the learners in community schools by providing 100,000 exercise books that will translate to a direct support of 10,000 learners from Community Schools. ZOCS seeks to empower underprivileged children by providing them with essential books and school requisites. By supporting this campaign, you can play a vital role in nurturing our children's educational journey, helping them unlock their potential and pave the way for a secure and brighter future.
The provision of 100,000 exercise books empowers 10,000 learners to engage more deeply in their studies. With access to essential learning tools, they can actively participate in classroom activities, complete assignments, and develop critical thinking skills. Investing in education today builds a foundation for a secure and brighter future. You will be contributing to the development of skilled individuals who can contribute positively to their communities and society as a whole.
