The Domestic Violence Help for 500 Women in Kano project continues to strengthen its foundation for implementation, with a primary focus on mobilizing financial resources needed to deliver life-changing support to survivors of domestic violence. Fundraising efforts remain ongoing, with a total project goal of $1,000 required to provide emergency medical assistance, legal support, trauma counseling, vocational training, and startup business kits for beneficiaries.
While donor engagement activities have commenced, additional financial support is urgently needed to fully launch project activities and reach the target of 500 women. Current preparations include identifying potential beneficiaries, establishing partnerships with legal and counseling professionals, and developing vocational training plans to ensure funds are efficiently utilized once secured.
The project remains committed to creating sustainable economic opportunities for survivors, recognizing that financial independence is critical to helping women escape abusive environments permanently. Every contribution received will directly support the provision of essential services and income-generating opportunities that empower women to rebuild their lives, support their families, and break the cycle of violence for future generations.
