Successful completion of our Domestic Project 2.0

It's time again for an update from our Domestic Project 2.0. since we can proudly announce that we have reached a new milestone:The project has been successfully completed.
A total of 370 copies of the teaching materials were sent to around 200 schools and 10 teachers, meaning that around 400 teachers were reached in Germany. In addition, the materials were advertised on our website via our internal network, the newsletter and social media. By the end of the project, 150 hits and 67 downloads had been recorded. In the following weeks (01.06.-15.08.), the number increased by a further 212 hits and 71 downloads.
Overall, the measures to disseminate the teaching materials reached around 550 German teachers offline and online by the end of the project and many more afterwards. However, it is sometimes difficult to determine which of the application measures were the most effective. We estimate that dissemination via the newsletter and social media (especially Instagram) was the most effective.
Thank you so much for your support! It is only thanks to donors like you that we can successfully implement projects like these.
If you like, you are of course welcome to tell those around you about our association and our work.
Best wishes,
Vanessa

Updates from our Domestic project 2.0!

Dear Donor,
we hope you are doing well!
It's time again for an update from our Domestic Project 2.0. since we can proudly announce that we have reached a new milestone: You can now find our free teaching materials for even more class levels on our website - for 5th and 6th grade and from 9th grade onwards! There, in interactive teaching units, pupils learn more about the topics of education for sustainable development (ESD), development cooperation and Afghanistan.
We launched this project because there is hardly any development policy content in German curricula. We have set ourselves the goal of informing pupils about global processes, particularly in connection with international crises and conflicts. The aim is to raise awareness at an early stage and promote an appreciation of education.
So now it's up to you: Help us spread the teaching materials! Unfortunately, they are (so far) only available in German. If you do not live in Germany yourself, we would be very happy if you could pass the information on to any German contacts.
Thank you so much for your support so far! It is only thanks to donors like you that we can successfully implement projects like our domestic project.
If you like, you are of course welcome to tell those around you about our association and our work.
Best wishes,
Celine

What's new from our Domestic project 2.0?

Dear donor,
We hope you are doing well and that you have started the new year in good health. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you so much for your support and commitment so far - we really do appreciate it!
In our first report on the Domestic project 2.0, we want to review with you what this project is about and why it is so important.
What is the project about?
In the German school system and curriculum, development policy content only appears in passing. We have therefore set ourselves the goal of informing German schoolchildren about global processes, particularly in connection with international crises and conflicts. The causes and consequences of crises, the right to education and development policy solutions are dealt with using Afghanistan as an example. The project includes the optimization of existing teaching materials from our previous domestic project as well as the development of new materials for the lower grades. Training courses for teachers are also offered. The aim is to raise awareness among young people at an early stage and promote their appreciation of education.
What has happened so far?
Together with committed teachers, 3 conception workshops were held in which the materials from the 1st domestic project were revised and ideas for the conception and structure of the new materials were collected.
But there is a lot more to do and for this we still need your support! So please tell your friends and family about our work and the general humanitarian situation for the people in Afghanistan. Together we can make a difference!
Thanks again and all the best from the bottom of our hearts!
