DWAF is organizing the District Deaf Cricket Tournament 2026 in Attock, bringing together Deaf players from Kamra, Fateh Jang, Hasanabdal, and surrounding areas. The tournament promotes healthy activities, inclusion, confidence, and talent among Deaf youth and PWDs, especially from small cities. By engaging local institutions and communities, this initiative will raise awareness about the potential of Deaf athletes and provide them opportunities to reach larger platforms.
Deaf youth in small cities and remote areas often have very limited opportunities to participate in healthy sports activities, showcase their talent, or engage in inclusive community events. Due to lack of awareness, resources, and support, many talented Deaf players remain unseen and excluded from larger opportunities. This tournament aims to promote inclusion, confidence, teamwork, and awareness while giving Deaf athletes a platform to demonstrate their abilities and potential.
