As of the latest project update, the project has received $1 in donations toward the $18,500 fundraising goal, leaving $18,499 still required to fully implement the planned activities. The project has attracted 1 donors, with no monthly donors recorded so far.
Despite the limited funds raised, the project remains focused on reaching 600 girls with reusable menstrual hygiene products and education. The planned intervention includes producing and distributing reusable pads locally, with each girl expected to receive 8 pads, alongside menstrual health and hygiene education. The project also aims to train women in local cooperatives, creating income opportunities while supporting sustainable production.
Financial support remains the project's most urgent priority. At the current funding level, only a very small portion of the required activities can be undertaken. Additional donations are needed to finance pad production, training, educational workshops, transportation, coordination, and distribution. With adequate funding, the project can provide 5,000 reusable pads, strengthen women's livelihoods, and help 600 girls manage menstruation safely and confidently while remaining in school.
