Last Quarter 2022 Report
By Dustin D Havens-York | Director of Operations
2022 has seen significant strides in Heartland Equality's Allies in Action Program. We continued assisting those that need long-term assistance in light of the devastation that occurred in December of 2021, as well as continued progress on our long-term ability to assist disasters in our area, as we have completed our warehouse facility, and added response teams and coordination efforts to ease future needs and streamline the process to be able to continue to assist our neighbors for years to come. We have launched efforts to start developing emergency response vehicles that can be loaded and equipped and ready to roll out to needed areas within hours. With our current teams, we have streamlined needs assessment and distribution to be able to help our clients and new clients quicker and to be able to help those that others might have overlooked due to red tape.

Quarterly Update
By Dustin D Havens-York | President of the Board /Director of Operations
We have seen such love and compassion towards our neighbors through the ongoing recovery efforts of the deadly storms that ravaged our area on December 10th, 2021. To date, we have helped over 8,000 individuals and families affected. We have created an entire division of our organization dedicated to relief and disaster preparation and relief. In August of 2022, we started to work closely with other neighboring areas that have been affected by similar devastation and nationally declared disasters. Heartland Equality will not rest, we will be ever-present for our communities and our neighbors and we will always get through any act of nature or man-made disaster together.
