In recent months, a number of our students Gaby Wardenaar, Joshua Arends, Gideon Haberland, Chanine Moestro worked hard to organize a music event. The goal was that they learned how to organize a music event and promote our foundation and our goals. Thanks to your donations, they were able to give a free singing workshop by Jane Talany. There were 16 new participants and they loved it. After the workshop, there was a nice walk with free snacks and drinks, and then there was a karaoke hour. Many new talents competed with it, then there was an open mic and there were two guys along who have also participated in Idols this year. It was beautiful to see how beginners and advanced alternating the microphone! The evening was a success and afterwards we conducted interviews to find out what visitors thought of the evening. They gave us a very high average figure, with a 9 or 10! Please watch the link below to have a look at this event!
The musical evening was a success, but unfortunately the studio recording sessions went less well. The studio recordings for the charity album has a little dip, we had a couple of good technical issues. The used Mac Pro can not run all of the software and plugins. We now need to save for a new generation Mac Pro tower in order to operate smoothly. The project therefore has been delayed by a month on average. We are not happy about it, but we will never give up! The enthusiasm of all the participants makes us sharper and we also work harder to make up for lost time!
