A lot has happened in recent months. We are very pleased that we have received the titles VETTED 2017 and TOP RANKED 2017 from Global Giving, a recognition for the work we do! The DIMT project also won prizes and was voted the best project of 2017 in Almere. We received 50% of all votes in the final!  The other attendees were; YouTuber Dylan Peys, rapper Doominoo, writer Pascal Vanenburg, singer-songwriter Gitta de Ridder, AllyLive and the bands Arsenic Motion, Gravity Circus, Amber Roads and The Overslept. We are very grateful that the project DIMT is appreciated by the public after 5 editions  and that we won the Local Hero award. For our participants, teachers and project leaders, it is a great achievement, because the theater music project is a project that has influenced many lives. The teachers and project leaders who have worked with it have been able to use it as a springboard in their professional development, the young people have gained more perspective on what they can do in life. Some youngsters are inspired by the DIMT project and are now attending a theater education or a music education and that is a wonderfully beautiful effect of a project like DIMT, in which the personal competitions in the field of singing, music, dance and theater are stimulated. Our music studio was a special opportunity for the DIMT project to bundle all work, passion, energy, trial and error in one special song! You can hear the special song on our Youtube Channel with pictures from the DIMT project! (click on the link below).

We therefore have various music projects, in which the music studio plays an important role, so that the young people can develop optimally. In this case the music studio is used to develop a special song for the DIMT project. In the music studio also workshops are given, where the young people become aware of how they can lift their musical talents to a higher level and also help the street children in Indonesia. Just that attention is paid through their talents and that they become aware that not everything is self-evident in life is already a good result. We hope that through the music studio we can help even more young people to self-develop in music and that they become aware that they can help other young people and children with their talents. But what about the charity album for the street children in Indonesia? At this point we have recorded many songs, but our young people are not yet on the level to release a song. To be honest, we have underestimated this part of the project. It takes a lot of time to prepare inexperienced young people to make professional songs. Our young people regularly attend to gain experience, they receive lessons and we see them growing. We find it important that they regularly perform on various stages to develop their talents practically. After all, the charity album has to generate money to help the street children, but the songs must be of decent quality. In addition to the level of the songs, we also had technical setbacks with the computer, but this problem has been solved.

For the 2018/2019 season we want to lower the bar and focus on fine-tuning the songs of our young people, we also want to involve more experienced artists to record the charity album. We have a small team and may want too much, we have learned in the past year that a lot can be achieved with small steps. Winning the Local Hero award for the DIMT project is a good example of this. That project has grown in a series of steps in 5 years into a fully proven project and that is a good example for us how we can do it with the music studio. The music studio and the charity album can be developed in small steps. All donations ensure that the music studio can keep running and we can support many young people, we are not there yet, but we are going the right way! We are grateful for all the help so far!

For the sake of clarity, the goals of this project (Music Studio). With the donations via Global Giving the music studio can continue to run and many young people are helped in developing their own talents. We are getting closer and closer to creating a charity album. It takes longer than expected, but we have learned a lot in the past 2 years. The music studio has 2 goals, 1 to support the vulnerable young people in the Netherlands and the second goal is to help the underprivileged young people in Indonesia through a charity album. Goal 1 has already been achieved, we help a lot of young people in their development, goal 2 is in sight! ~
