Greetings to all supporters of VOICE Trust.
As you all know schools have begun in India. But, though it has been one and half months past children in tribal areas are still struggling for education utilities. With all your support and help, we can provide education utilities for tribal Children.
Most tribal children, about 35 million, live in rural areas. The highest poverty levels are reported among the tribals compared to other social groups. They are one of the country's poorest, most deprived population groups and are generally located in backward pockets/regions.

Development in tribal societies should focus on educational programmes that motivate keeping tribal youth integrated into their own culture. Working with the tribal leaders is key to ensuring their active participation and cooperation in sensitisation programmes on the importance of education.
There is a need to promote intensive participatory community mobilisation and sensitisation programmes for the community leaders and key stakeholders. Moreover, such awareness generation programmes should be organised through experienced and credible institutions working in the domain of tribal education.

We are primarily focusing on 250 children in the Tribal areas. Most of their parents are daily wage families.
