Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your support toward the Direct-to-Door Malaria Nets Distribution in Slums project. Your contribution shows concern for families at risk of malaria. However, the donations received so far are not enough to begin the planned distribution, and more support is needed.
Across many urban slum communities, malaria continues to affect households due to crowded living conditions and poor sanitation. Children under five and pregnant women remain the most vulnerable.
Many families are unable to afford preventive tools such as insecticide-treated nets, leaving them exposed to frequent mosquito bites and repeated illness.
This project is designed to distribute long-lasting mosquito nets directly to households on World Malaria Day, April 25. Outreach teams will also provide simple guidance on proper use to help families protect themselves effectively.
With the right support, more households can reduce malaria risk, avoid severe illness, and improve their daily health.
We are grateful for the support already received and remain hopeful that additional contributions will make it possible to begin this outreach and reach families in need.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
