This project is still on hold as a result of the health crisis caused by the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic, in Mexico as of October 24, 2020, more than 88,500 people died from this disease. The difficult situation of the communities is further aggravated, thousands of jobs have been lost and the economic contraction is of the order of 10%.
The school year has been suspended, it was estimated that the activities in the schools would resume in September 2020, however it is now estimated that the schools will resume their work until February 2021.
We have continued to communicate with our beneficiaries, who now also face a great economic problem and lack of food because it is a highly marginalized community and since commercial activities are suspended, they have not been able to work or generate income.
Our team continues to work to obtain the resources and support and thus achieve the success of this important project.
