This project will build a scholar dining room in the indigenous school "Vicente Guerrero" located in Santa Maria Xadani, Oaxaca, this is a state with a social and economic lag. This school is integrated for 286 students and 12 teachers, who wants to improve their school for the children's development and feeding, they require support for the scholar dining room building it helps can have two meals per day
Xadani is a community of Oaxaca, one of the poorest states in Mexico, 286 children from the community attend Vicente Guerrero Elementary School, the only bilingual primary school (Zapoteco-Spanish) in the area, most children don't have access to adequate food, even though the parents began the construction of a dining room with their own resources, but with the 2017 earthquake it had to be demolished. Unhealthy food affects children in their health, development and learning process.
Our project consists on build a dining room, it included furniture and all the conditions to cook and eat there. We will instal solar panels to give clean energy to the kitchen. We're going to set up a hydroponics system to provide vegetables. Also we include a nutritional program for parents and teachers. And the parents will be involved in all the construction process. We will instal one water purification system that help the students to have access to high quality drinking water
286 students will have access to a better quality of life. It represents social integration, development of good eating habits to improve health and rise school performance. This project guarantees 2 meals a day for every child. A healthy eating help to concentrate and have a best learning process.The children have more opportunities to develop and be a support for their families and community. And the building will be a construction that last and impact for generations in benefit of Xadani's
