Many boys and girls living in slums face significant financial challenges in meeting their basic needs. The Muwakhat Foundation aims to address this issue by providing e-commerce training followed by a three-month internship program. This initiative targets 5,200 students from 26 schools located in impoverished communities, equipping them with the skills to earn income and improve their financial circumstances.
Young individuals, particularly girls and boys living in slums, face significant financial difficulties that hinder their ability to meet basic needs. Limited access to educational resources and job opportunities exacerbates these challenges, leaving them unprepared for the modern workforce. As a result, many miss out on income-generating opportunities, perpetuating cycles of poverty and dependency within their families and communities.
To address these challenges, the Muwakhat Foundation is implementing a comprehensive e-commerce training program, complemented by a three-month internship experience. This initiative will provide hands-on training in digital entrepreneurship, online marketing, and sales strategies, equipping students with the skills needed to navigate the digital economy. The program will initially target 40 students from 26 schools in underserved communities, eventually scaling up to reach 5,200 students.
The Muwakhat Foundation aims to extend this initiative to 5,200 students from 26 schools, allowing them to learn vital digital skills and e-commerce strategies after school. The ultimate purpose is to promote financial freedom for families living in slums, breaking the cycle of poverty and enabling a brighter future for the next generation.
