Dear TechQuest Partner,
We sincerely thank you for your steadfast support in advancing digital literacy among children. Your generous contributions to the Digital Skills and Online Safety for Nigerian Children project are creating real and lasting change in the lives of public school students, laying the foundation for a brighter and more empowered future.
Thanks to your support and that of 71 other donors, we have raised $6,401 toward our goal of $49,800, with $43,399 still needed to reach our target.
We’re proud to share that our program has now successfully reached over 1,000 students, teaching them fundamental digital skills such as starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse and keyboard, navigating software, and saving their work. Your contributions have enabled us to equip these young learners with essential digital competencies that will serve them throughout their academic and personal lives.
Beyond basic literacy, your support has inspired a new wave of interest in STEM among these students, encouraging creativity, curiosity, and hands-on exploration of technology.
The Digital Skills and Online Safety Project specifically targets students in public and low-fee-paying schools, with a focus on:
Enhancing digital literacy,
Promoting safe and responsible internet use,
Teaching students how to protect their identities,
Addressing cyberbullying and online harassment, and
Empowering students to evaluate and verify online content.
As we continue to expand this life-changing initiative, our next goal is to reach at least 1,000 more students. To achieve this, we aim to raise an additional $43,399. We invite you to deepen your impact by contributing again and helping us spread the word to potential partners who share our vision.
Your partnership is critical, and we are profoundly grateful for the difference you are making in the lives of Nigerian children.
With sincere appreciation,
Dr. Itoro Emembolu
