Project Progress Report – Phase II
Digital Pakistan – Girls’ Digital Transformation
We are pleased to share the successful completion of the next phase of our project, “Digital Pakistan – Girls’ Digital Transformation,” at Govt. Primary School Lidher, Lahore.
Following the establishment of the fully equipped computer lab with your generous support, the lab has now been formally inaugurated and made operational for students. In addition to the 10 computer systems, all necessary accessories and a reliable internet connection have been provided to ensure a complete and effective digital learning environment.
Most importantly, we have now started structured computer education for girl students from Grades 1 to 5. The course is designed to introduce students to computers from an early age and progressively develop their digital literacy, basic computer skills, safe and responsible use of technology, and exposure to emerging digital tools.
For many of these young students, this initiative provides an important opportunity to engage with technology as part of their regular learning journey. By introducing digital education at the primary level, we aim to build their confidence, curiosity, and technological skills from an early age and prepare them for an increasingly digital and AI-driven future.
With the lab now fully operational and classes underway, the project has moved from providing digital infrastructure to creating meaningful learning opportunities for girls.
Our Next Step – Third Computer Lab
Building on the progress of this initiative, we are now establishing our *third computer lab, this time at a private primary school serving children from a deprived community.
Through this next project, we aim to extend access to digital education to more children who otherwise have limited opportunities to learn and engage with technology. The new lab will provide the necessary digital infrastructure and will be followed by structured computer learning activities for the students.
We look forward to sharing the completion, inauguration, and further operations of our third computer lab with you very soon.
We sincerely appreciate your continued trust and generous support. Your contribution is helping us move beyond simply providing computers to creating sustainable digital learning opportunities and preparing children from underserved communities for the future.
