For over a decade, PowerOn has been distributing devices to LGBTQ+ organizations and community centers across the country, as well as directly to LGBTQ+ individuals. Through our grants we have seen the impact these devices have on the community, from accessing healthcare, finding resources, applying to jobs and continuing their education. We know access is essential, but with this access comes the importance of online safety. We are excited to announce the release of PowerOn’s Cyber Safety Guidebook, “Navigating Cyber Safety: Introduction to Digital Best Practices for LGBTQ+ Organizations” to help organizations kickstart their cyber safety journeys. Additionally, we are excited to announce the launch of our PowerUp Resource Hub with grab-and-go educational resources and videos on cyber safety, digital skills, and professional development — made by and for the LGBTQ+ community!
