Thank you, donor. Thank you, GlobalGiving.
Your donations is helping to provide life-changing opportunities for several hundreds of public secondary school students from low-income families in Nigeria.
The Foundation recently concluded the recruitment of a new cohort of school-aged girls into her SHE Initiative Program. As an effort to reach and equip more girls, the Foundation expanded its reach to include 9 new schools. A total of 509 girls from 22 senior secondary public schools across Lagos State, Nigeria were enrolled in the program following their successful application.
The 509 girls would be immersed in sessions on life and leadership skills, as well as on sexuality education and gender-based violence prevention would be delivered to the girls in the course of the program. We also hope to be able to deliver hands-on interactive workshops on electronics programming and mobile games development.
We are excited about the impact of these programs in the lives of these girls and we are looking forward to commencing as funds roll in. Your recurring gifts enable us to continue to deliver these interventions toward education equity for better life outcomes for girls from lower-income families.
