This organization wants to proactively promote and strengthen a social environment that respects human rights, where diversity is recognized as a value, with emphasis on the development of vulnerable groups such as young people, people with HIV, men who have sex with other men, the LGBT community, among others. They will achieve this through the promotion of sports, positive models of coexistence and collaboration with indigenous government institutions and key actors of civil society.
The biggest adversity that sexually diverse people face in Mexico, particularly non-straight ones, are the homophobic expressions in all their forms.The most important thing is to recognize the inevitable fact that homophobia has internalized in all of us, at different levels. Our proposal is to strengthen positive models of coexistence, the respect and reinforcement of identity, self-perception and self-esteem, the right to selfrealization and happiness, in a context of moral reciprocity. We think it is important and necessary to reinforce the competences for coexistence among the homosexual community, taking sports and culture as the main stage of social impact for identities construction.
