Introduction
Menstrual equity remains a critical issue across India, particularly in rural regions where barriers like cost and accessibility persist. Many adolescent girls and women lack access to hygienic menstrual products, impacting their health, education, and overall empowerment. At the Desai Foundation, we are dedicated to changing this through community health and hygiene camps, livelihood programs, and awareness sessions that meet women and girls where they are and provide resources to uplift them at every stage of life.
Supporting Girls and Women at Every Life Stage
Childhood We focus on instilling lifelong health habits early, with initiatives like our Bal Health Mela, where health and hygiene education comes alive. Through interactive and joyful sessions, we equip young girls with the knowledge to grow up strong and well-informed.
