Dear Donor:

We want to express our immense gratitude for the donations received for the children of “Padre Miguel González Preschool” located in the Venezuelan Amazon, Maniapure, Bolívar state. The preschool is situated in a rural area where eight (8) indigenous communities coexist. Thank you for the trust you have shown in our program “Developing Minds.” Believing in what we do at the CENTRO LA MILAGROSA DE MANIAPURE makes us feel gratefully accompanied on this journey.

We would like to share what we have been doing with the donations received during this period. Among the achievements are the following: medical control and screening evaluations -second period- for the 25 children enrolled in the educational program; two (2) workshops for parents, “Parent School,” reinforcing positive education and children's rights to education with the participation of fifteen (15) parents; a birth registration day for children without birth certificates, benefiting forty-five (45) children from both the preschool and the community, giving them Venezuelan identity; and activities during a week to celebrate the third anniversary of the Preschool with the participation of parents and representatives, among other accomplishments.

We have great hopes for the new 2024-2025 school year. There are many new challenges and goals we have planned, and to achieve the expected success, it would greatly help us to continue counting on your support. At this moment, we are visiting communities, especially indigenous ones, to enroll more children in the preschool. The new school period requires new supplies such as educational materials, school uniforms, sports equipment, and especially the repair of our school transport to manage the logistics of transporting the children to school.

Once again, thank you for supporting the children of the Venezuelan Amazon and being part of this educational program where we educate children with joy, values, inclusion, and diversity in this remote and highly vulnerable region of Venezuela.

With gratitude
