• During the reporting period, the project assisted 75 young people including 4 girls imprisoned in EGEE through food assistance by providing hot meals. Medical assistance is also provided to meet basic needs.
• Also, the 75 young people received school kits to allow them to resume lessons. The teachers also received teaching materials consisting of chalk, textbooks, pen, etc.
• In order to optimize the response to women in detention, the project identified 18 women who have infants. These women will benefit from hygienic kits and other woman-specific aids including medical assistance when needed. Their babies will be given baby food.
• Thanks to the funds received, the projects provided food for young people (girls and boys) as well as medical care. It also guaranteed the resumption of school activities.
