Destiny Kids is a consortium platform working in association LWFCI-UK aiming to raise fund for 3 local charities that support children with special educational needs and disabilities. The project will provide tutoring, social activities, educational trips during school holidays , giving opportunity for bonding where carers can support each other, whilst the children can socialise and enjoy new experiences. It enables children to learn, families to have fun and spend quality time together.
Disabled children have limited access to many activities due to them often being excluded, as well as some activities not being suitable for their needs, because society do not always provide inclusive environments due to lack of understanding of disabled people's needs. We will organise creative workshops, Soft play and other activities which will be tailored to meet our children needs. It will allow disable children attend church on Sunday and participate in activities and connect with others
Destiny Kids is unique because it brings 3 organisations together under one umbrella where they can fundraise together to maximise success and minimise expenses. Our children and parents are all involved in the fundraising process and the running of all of these projects. Destiny Kids allows children and parents to be together in a safe environment where they are able to learn together, have fun and feel less isolated. These 3 projects we help to improve life of children and their families.
More than 100 children and young people will get major help to succeed in life supporting them in their learning and social skills. We hope our families will feel less isolated and our children's learning skills would improve. These skills are transferable. Families will have better life and good health. This is may reduce stress levels, anxiety, other unnecessary illnesses. Children will develop their confidence, language, motor, vision and social skills, spend quality time with their families.
