The 5years boy lost both parents with HIV at tender age. He was diagnosed with HIV as per mother to child transmission.
After demise of his parents , he was staying with his maternal uncle. Due to financial constrains, he was not taken care well. He lost weight and started falling sick quite often.
The child welfare committee brought him to our care home at Noida. He was admitted due to HIV orphan status. At admission time, he was weak and unable to do his routine tasks.
The nutrition /medical care was given priority for this boy. The diet chart was put into place covering nutritional needs . The HIV drug adherence Is main part of our efforts in order to have smooth running of his day today life pattern. He will cooperate when it comes to taking ART medication.
The private English medium schooling [ UKG class ]is introduced to take care of his educational side. He is studying well and loves to do extra curriculum activities. He is also pet of his teachers in school.
The GLOBAL GIVING support will enable him to grow nicely and we will be in a position to maintain living standards as per need.
