The current panorama allows us to confirm that distance classes are still not very functional for learning at a basic level; on the other hand, we observe that some parents or guardians have lost their jobs and there is a lack of computers or other devices with internet connection. The payment of the service for the internet connection is other concept that not all students can cover.
Additionally, families have had to buy smartphones, hire a fixed internet service and sometimes buy furniture for students.
However, our students assure that they learn less with studies at home than in person. They attribute this to the lack of follow-up by the teachers, to the learning; and the lack of pedagogical ability of their parents or guardians to transmit knowledge.
With the application of the vaccines, they have been losing their fear of contagion and the students show a lot of willingness to attend face-to-face classes again.
All of the above makes students with low learning seek the support that we can give them.
