At the same time, it is also an opportunity to make new friends with a similar experience which can help them deal with the feelings of isolation and misunderstanding. They will not feel out of place and lonely in their life situation. Through role-playing, games, trips and therapeutic activities they will be able to experience something new, relax and laugh without feeling that it is inappropriate for someone overcoming loss.
Overcoming the isolation (many children after death of close person have the tendency to isolate from other children) - Preventing from drug usage in future (children learn how to work with their emotions, how to express them and they will not look for escape in drugs) - Providing the safe environment for expression of grief, doubts can help them to deal with this heavy situation, so the situation will have less impact for their futuru development
