Imagine living in a remote community without access to resources to maintain proper nutrition and struggling every day to get food and survive. Sadly, this is a reality for many families around the world. At PAN, our mission is to improve the quality of life of these people by providing more than 5,000 nutritional packages every month to children and families living in remote communities. Our purpose is to ensure that every person has the right to access food.
During a delivery route in December 2022, our vehicle crashed on a poorly-maintained road and was declared a total loss. Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident, although delivering food to remote areas has become more difficult. PAN continues delivering food assistance to those in need. However, to increase our reach and reduce transportation costs, we need a vehicle of our own that will allow us to keep providing well-being and promoting development to families who need it the most.
With a new vehicle, PAN will deliver food to even the most remote areas quickly and efficiently. This way, families will continue to have food to guarantee their quality of life. In addition, the corporation will be able to allocate its transportation resources towards strengthening its processes, as it will no longer be reliant on third-party delivery services.
By ensuring that families have access to essential food and nutrients, we will contribute to reduce malnutrition rates and provide families with the resources they need to thrive. When families have access to food security, they are better equipped to contribute to the positive transformation of society. This can lead to a brighter future for everyone. By working together, we can make a meaningful difference and offer a ray of hope in challenging times.
