Construction Has Not Yet Begun

By Goerge Constantin | Founder

Dear GlobalGiving Team and Supporters,

We are submitting a transparent update on the Pantainos School of Orthodox Theology project in Accra, Ghana.

The project is designed to establish a theological education facility within the Accra Cathedral compound, including classrooms, a library, dormitories, a chapel, and study spaces. The current project plan has an estimated budget of USD 200,000 for construction, finishing, furnishing, permits, monitoring, and contingency costs.

At the time of this report, the project has not received sufficient funding to begin implementation.

Because adequate funding has not yet been secured:

  • No construction work has started.
  • No materials or furnishings have been purchased.
  • No contractors have been mobilized.
  • No students have been enrolled through this project.
  • No educational or community outcomes are being claimed.
  • No project funds have been spent on implementation.

Beginning construction without sufficient financing could result in an incomplete facility and create avoidable financial and operational risks. Constantine African Foundation has therefore chosen not to begin physical work until a clearly defined phase can be fully funded and completed responsibly.

Our immediate objective is to secure funding for the first complete construction phase, beginning with the essential site preparation, structural works, and basic utilities required before classrooms, dormitories, and educational spaces can be developed.

The long-term purpose remains clear: to create a local center for theological education, ethical leadership, and community service. However, we remain committed to reporting only verified activities and actual results.

Our request is clear: help us secure the funding required to begin and complete the first responsible construction phase.

Thank you for your trust and for supporting transparent, accountable educational development in Ghana.

With gratitude and accountability,

Constantine African Foundation
