Dear GlobalGiving Team and Supporters,
We are submitting a transparent update on Deliver Lifesaving Medical Supplies to West Africa.
This project is designed to transport donated medical supplies and equipment to health facilities in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. The proposed annual plan covers three 40-foot medical containers and includes equipment collection, inspection, freight, customs clearance, insurance, storage, local distribution, monitoring, and reporting. The current projected annual budget is USD 167,500.
At the time of this report, the project has not secured the funding required to begin implementation.
Because adequate funding has not yet been received:
International medical shipments require sufficient funding before departure to cover freight, customs clearance, insurance, storage, and safe last-mile delivery. Beginning without these resources could leave donated equipment delayed at a port, exposed to additional charges, or unable to reach the intended health facilities.
For this reason, Constantine African Foundation will begin implementation only when sufficient funding is available to complete a defined shipment phase responsibly.
Our immediate objective is to secure the funding required for the first medical container, including shipment, regulatory clearance, insurance, and delivery to approved recipient facilities.
The need for essential medical supplies remains significant. However, we are committed to reporting only verified activities and results. Until the first shipment is fully funded and completed, we will not claim equipment delivered, facilities supported, or patients reached.
