Thanks to your continued support, Te Protejo México remains at the forefront of the fight against online child sexual exploitation. As oft his month, we’ve received a total of 11,987 reports, distributed as follows:
Each report has been carefully analyzed and referred to the appropriate authorities or partners, reinforcing our commitment to protecting children and adolescents in digital spaces.
Highlights from this period:
4th International Encounter for a Digital World Free of CSAM
We hosted our fourth annual international gathering, bringing together NGOs, civil society, private sector partners, government institutions, and global agencies. The event focused on creating powerful, collaborative strategies to protect children online.
Annual Report on Grooming in Latin America – Presented at the Mexican Senate
As part of the Grooming LATAM Network, we joined regional partners and legislators to present the latest Annual Report on Online Grooming. This moment reaffirmed our shared commitment to confront digital child sexual abuse across the continent.
INHOPE Global Assembly – Amsterdam
As proud members of INHOPE, we participated in their annual global assembly. Representing Mexico’s national reporting line, we contributed strategic proposals to improve global efforts in prevention, detection, and response.
International Day of Innocent ChildrenVictims of Aggression
We joined the global movement led by theTo Zero Initiative, raising our voices to end all forms of child sexual violence.
May 25 – International Missing Children’s Day
We stood in solidarity with international partners to raise awareness and mobilize action for the prevention and response to child disappearances and exploitation.
“Infancias en Silencio” Exhibition
Together with our local partners—Freedom Foundation and the Museum of Memory and Tolerance—we supported the launch of this powerful temporary exhibition in Mexico City. It gives voice to children whose pain too often goes unheard.
Advocacy and Policy Engagement
Our team participated in the Legislative Forum on Violence Against Children and Adolescents at the Mexican Senate, and joined Safer Screens, a local initiative in Jalisco pushing for safer digital environments through legislative reform.
